I am flustered that rudeness is viewed as something which is accorded the gravity of an investigative crime that merits punishment. When one considers how many scathing remarks and searing wounds are inflicted on a wide segment of a community and yet no sanctions whatsoever is applied, we have to question: Why the hypocrisy of double standards? How long does one think that such intimidation and scare tactics are going to work? There are youth who are marching the streets and calling out the thieves among our political elite! Can one not see that the only badge one may possesses in the not too distant future would be shame and the only claim to honor is that one walks without being hounded as the citizen may empathize and pity you on account of age. Make no mistake that when one loses the decency to be impartial – one will be hated, cursed and vilified. Why are people like Jeff Ooi and Sidek Kamiso investigated by the police? Yes, the comments or tweets may be insensitive, but since when are we arresting people for speaking? Does one really think that the act of arresting decent people who have made mistakes lower their status and confer on them a rank that is of a criminal nature? On the contrary this kind of persecution and highhandedness
compels us to stand beside them even if we disagree with their tweet or comment. The action by law enforcement is far worse as compared to the tweets or comments. This is one of the reason why I am so reluctant sometimes to write about injustices- the law is an ass!
We have an offensive young boy who is no more than fifteen or sixteen years of age, having his oxygen of fame and publicity. Going by the face that is proudly and fearlessly shown on the photo. Now we have this person who is grooming himself to be an ISIS fighter making obviously incendiary, provocative comments laced with profanity. It is so easy to trace the offender and reform him. But the greater threat appears to be Sidek Kamiso and Jeff Ooi. It is malicious when one has to charge into the family home of Sidek Kamiso and traumatize the family. Incidentally the religious teacher of that young scoundrel ought to be reprimanded and banned from teaching, touching or reading the Holy Book. If this is the best of ones students knowledge , it speaks volumes of the infiltration of concealed doctrines that are corrupting and poisoning the young.
The standing trend seems to suggest the one should ‘neutralize the good, naturalize the illegal, nurture the evil with protection and the animalistic nature of confrontational politics will take care of the rest. Once the system is hijacked and used as an expedient tool of politics by those who think they are brilliant as past evidence has clearly shown it is a gargantuan task to undo the precedence of a procedure that is idiotic at the best.
Yesterday seeing President Obama, the Police chief and Mayor addressing a Nation that just suffered the bombings in New York, presented a moment of ordinary tranquility in the eye of the storm. The message to the press and public was an appeal for support not to print or forward anything in any form that is detrimental to security of the investigations. It appeared to have been respected and followed. What President Obama did is nothing exceptional, it is an expectation that those who are voted into power and appointed respect the mandate, in other-words the common citizen and the apparatus of a free press that offers the citizen a free voice is guaranteed and protected.
Over here we have a thuggish, hoodlum mentality where the press, journalist and public are regularly flayed with menacing intimidating language, hounded and threatened with shut downs and incarcerations.
Are we in a system that are proponents to equality and justice. On so many occasions there is the implication that one is hemorrhaging over the smallest issue but are accommodative to the racist, religious bigots and all kinds of weirdos and sickos. It is sickening but it seems like there is the sinister diabolic development and certainty within the system to introduce us to the inevitability and insensate acceptance of a colloquium to certify that we have imbeciles who are invincible and will mercilessly use irreconcilable might in an irrevocable and irresponsible manner against those who are just and right.
Unequivocally and unambiguously the conduct of neutrality should be beyond reproach, but it is otherwise. The flagrant dereliction and dispensation to wage war against decency is encyclopedic and explosive beyond the norm or what constitutes ordinary mistakes of stupidity or mismanagement.
Ignominiously and inexcusably we sleep shriveled by perpetual shame when we know that those who leads us down the road of predilection intentionally manufacture controversy and consternation of potentially irreversible anarchy while they are engaging in brazen pillage and reckless plunder. We are doomed when we expect or hope that decency is forthcoming from the devil.
