Fathers & Sons

How will a name impact and be remembered in the History of this Nation?  The first three Fathers of the Nation were simple folk, there word words were taken at face value.  With the leadership after this there has been a growing trust deficit that has become irreparable where a complete clear out and clean up are the options in just about every area. The legend and legacy of the founding Fathers of the nation is non-erasable, iron clad and assured, what can we say about the inheritors:

What if a :

· Father is loved and while the Sons are loathed.

· Father is revered while the Sons are reviled.

· Father delivered and the Sons defiled.

· Father is respected and the Sons are rejected.

· Father is important and the Sons are impotent.

· Father inspired by example and the Sons defined by sloth and slogans, deemed inconclusive and incompetent. 

· Father was incisive and the Sons are incomprehensible.

· Father is sanctity and the Sons are scandals 

· Father designed on merge resources a plentiful yield and the Sons returns are depravity and destitution.

· Father shared a promise and the Sons prostituted its hope.

· Father shared an ideal and the Sons scorned it with false faith. 

· Father lived everyday with every citizen as his gift and the Sons considered themselves the gift to the citizens

· Father protected the rights and the Sons were our plight and flight.  

· Father was pure and the Sons are pirates and hoodlums.

· Father served and the Sons demoted the served to slaves.

· Father dreamed of a vision and the Sons are a living nightmare in our darkness.

· Father claimed the virtue of peace the Sons sowed the seeds of division.

· Father adopted all the Sons abandoned all.

· Father accepted all the Sons aborted all.

· Father acquired wealth for all while the Sons absconded with the treasure

· Father cried over his people while the Sons mocked the people.

· Father forgave the transgressions while the Sons forsook all.

· Father reaped no rewards while the Sons sowed carnage and revenge.

· Father fought for us, while the Sons embroiled everyone else in a destructive conflict.

· Father obeyed the laws while the Sons became the law.

· Father remained a public servant to death and the Sons became draconian, dictatorial leaders.

· Father sang of harmony and the Sons embraced hate.

· Father led by simple example the and Sons commanded by fear, arrogance and extravagance.

· Father claimed to be the happiest leader, while the Sons are consigned as hopeless leaders.

· Father was decisive and the Sons are deceptive 

· Father was aggressive in development while the Sons promoted anarchy from the holy books.

· Father admonished the wrongs while the Sons indisputably aggravated and compounded the wrongs. 

· Father knew the virtues of pardon while the Sons thrived on inflicting punishment on the least.

· Father knew the soul while the Sons befriended sins 

· Father offered salvation and the Sons thrived on shame.

· Father wiped tears, while the Sons tear gassed and baton charged people. 

· Father lived for honour and while the Sons are hounded like thieves.

· Father gave respect while the Sons breathed the fire of retribution  

· Father blessed the stakeholders the Sons cursed the serfs. 

· Father lived for a cause while the Sons lives off was sweet comfort. 

· Father knew grief and while the Sons sought solace in greed.

· Father’s sweat dripped on labors toil to fertilize the soil, while the tired Sons ploughed through the extenuating and excruciating task through the minefield of the most exclusive shopping havens.

· Father’s compassion knew a padi field and fishing boat, while the Sons passion knew the golf course 

· Father held the farmer and fisherman dear, while the Sons fiddled with the fraudsters, conspirators and charlatans.

· Father chained the destroyers of unity while the Sons unleashed the rabid mongrels of race and religion.

· Father’s tribulation lay with a rubber tapper while the Sons greatest trial was jet setting

· Father was ensnared by pain while the Sons are enthralled in gain.

· Father never held a kris in anger, while the Sons kissed a kris to be dipped in the blood of many.

· Father prayed for all, while the Sons brayed in intransigence for applause of the world.

· Father forged with fortitude, the Sons fraudulence made us frail and fragile.

· Father had one woman, the Sons romped and cavorted with an array and bevy of dubious beautiful women.

· Father prostrated before God, the Sons protected God.

· Father saw with the eye of concern while the Sons slew with contempt.

· Father protected the innocent while the Sons procrastinated and incarcerated the sinless.

· Father’s marched for freedom the while Sons storm troopers and cohorts threatened the wails of Ramallah on the smallest and littlest of citizens.

· Father’s hand caressed a wife in tender affection, in current the women faces are homes for the Sons cruel fist of fury 

· Father with generosity expressed this land for all sons and daughters, while the  Sons with impunity and immunity called some kafirs and pendatangs.

· Father threw the lance at revisionist, while the Sons spewed frothing profanities at the reformists.

· Father was remorseful on mistakes, the Sons celebrated mistakes with joyful exuberance.

· Father took pride in the oneness of our blessed diversity while the Sons prejudice promoted fragmentation.

· Father delighted in our happiness while the Sons howled like a packs of wolfs on our misery and wounds.

· Father made straight a path for the Crescent and Moon, the Cross, the Bhagavad Gita, the Lotus, the chants of Guru Nanak while the Sons  are seduced in courtship with plagiarized preachers , poachers and the infamous triplets Isis, Al Queda and Taliban.

· Father encouraged free speech while the Sons stifled our tongues, broke our hearts, shackled our spirit, chained and caged each in submission to   silence.

· Father empowered our eyes to see a vision beyond our existence the Sons blinded us with bright vestments and ornaments.

· Father visited and walked in the shanty slums of the poor and down trodden villagers while the Sons backyard familiarity are the flight of opulence to  New York, Paris, Rome and London.

· Father relinquished power on lives lost, the Sons retain power infinitum with no account.

· Father wades through floods, while the Sons are on an escapade to exotic resorts.

· Father was frugal with our money while the Sons are philanthropist with our taxes. 

· Fathers even handed cane of action was felt by friend and foe alike, while the Sons commended and awarded the criminals and perpetrators

· Father’s lends simple dignified courage to women, while the Sons gave them cows to milk.

· Father deciphered and fulfilled some part of the intention in securing the trust of our votes while the Sons oversold and threw scraps and morsel from their table of plenty.

· Father was sleepless in Parliament while the Sons blinked, winked and slept exhausted on the exertions on night of excursions.   

· Father’s spouse was personal and hidden the Sons spouses are public and hideous.

· Father’s purchases were prudent while the Sons sunk in the shallow waters of bitterness.

· Father was an energetic man of action while the Sons were alleged to have been explosive experts.

· Father explored the possibilities of the human potential while the Sons exploited and raped the deep dark beautiful forest.

· Father scrounged, slaved and saved for profit while the sons sold, squandered and spent on what they thought we needed, placing us in perilous debts.

· Father secured the public amenities for our welfare, while the Sons privatized our assets for the wealth of few privileged and poverty of many. 

· Father stopped and stripped a renowned Mentri Besar powerless, the Sons made uneducated Muftis and Mullahs powerful.

· Father gave us the expectation to look at the future, while the Sons gave us regression and repression imposing upon us to reminisce with longing for a past that is a memory.

· Father felt our sorrow while the Sons imposed suffering

· Father from the dregs of May 69’s defeat, led us to triumph while the Sons taunted, tormented and traumatized us.  

· Father had paternal instincts, while the Sons are predatory and we the prey.

· Father was a revolutionary the Sons are reactionaries.

· Father preached moderation while the Sons are sermonizing madness.

· Father freed the country, while the nation feeds the Sons and their families.

· Father had a vision, while the Sons planned to plague us with rhetoric of who came first, homelessness, race, religion, gender, Utopia, Divine comedy, Jesters and Clowns.

I suspect that I have with regard to the sons just scratched the motive and disparate ideology that are causing us to walk with unhealed wounds 

DELUSION IN TERRORISM/ILLUSION IN FREEDOM

I am unable unravel or decipher the enigma and sew the narrative of why terrorism it seems is like an end goal to some adherents of the Muslim faith who relinquish or surrender the original identity or true nature of its call and choose to embrace the demented, mindless, barbaric ideology to create hell on earth.. It is really a puzzle that the so called most educated or spiritual thinkers are drawn into this quagmire and black hole of violence emitting from the dark ages. 

Intelligent people are becoming 
radicalized to believe interrorism as a means to advance their beliefs-professors, doctors, lawyers engineer and persons with cross discipline in various professional fields of specialization  are believing and embracing the twisted ideology of violence,  even the littlest and most innocent of infants are subject to the incontestable and inconceivable cruelty of such vile blood chilling nature that the death camps of Buchenwald and Auschwitz and Dachau seem like hotels.

There is an inaccurate assessment and generalization that bloggers, eminent thinkers and strategic counter terrorism expert and writers seem to conclude as mainline attributive causes 

* Poverty

* Inequality

* Restless spirit of youth

* Lack of Education

* (Justice)Empathetic impact of past atrocities in Bosnia and other parts of the globe.

I feel this is a very naive approach. Each of the reasons are circumspect to impeachment on the account that they are expedient, convenient simplistic and palatable to assuaging the fears of a global population. 

One or a few expert’s theorem of opinion tendered is deemed credible enough for all to jump on a bandwagon with the security blanket and sing the same oblivious tune while obvious terror is no longer lurking in the shadows but showing a brazen and open spittle of contempt, obliterating all rational with impunity. While the carnage and destruction are being sowed and reaping a toil in lives the so called experts are obstinate and defensive on their cluelessness. The multifaceted reasons for terrorism existence will be elusive until the integrity of intimate, incisive soul searching is engaged.

From a basic caveman Neanderthal subterranean point of opinions which may be flawed and can be flayed by critics I submit 

· The repulsive Nazi regime, the cold communist ideology, the murderous Pol Pot regime and the repugnant Dictatorships of North Korea have all tried their utmost to hide and camouflage their crimes. The shame of knowing that one may be a seen as worse than a pariah was the motivational deterrent to hide. This though complex to understand is an acknowledgment of conscience that a wrong is committed and the world should not even have a peep of the wrongdoing.

· In direct contrast the Taliban, Al Queda and Isis are conscience free in as far as torture and killing are concerned. The darker and viler the crime, that much more it should be exposed and enjoyed. They are fearless in promoting their brand of evil. They are justifying, legitimating, legalizing and validating the evil as a necessary means of acquiring what they believe is scriptural correctness and the dictates of God. This is where everyone from the new born infant to the aged is at risk, the atheist and persons of different faiths inclusive of Muslims are at risk to varying degrees. If one’s faith ideology is somewhat close to theirs there is only a paper thin chance of acceptability to live as slaves. ISIS is unrepentant about the kill, remorseless in the methods it employs and relentless in pursuing the destruction of life. This is not the ordinary war strategy of inflicting terror in a horrendous manner to optimize submission on fears account. This is the dogmatic certainty to promote a culture of death. Their God is a tyrannical devourer whose lust for blood with the crushed bones of the vanquished is akin to a desert craving rain and receiving one drop. 

There should be no illusion, such depravity has to be comprehensively and resoundingly defeated and dismantled by the combined strength of forces drawn from various countries throughout the global village irrespective of political or religious affiliations. The eradication of the terrorism mindset may take more than five or ten years.  If there is no cohesiveness or cooperation from any country the agenda of that country is suspect. 

Seventy-one years ago the world out of necessity united to ensure the destruction of the Nazi ideology and the Japanese philosophy of aggressive expansion and racial superiority. It was realized that this had to be expunged and dismantled in its entirety. The price was exceptionally high in the immediate - sacrificial extraction to draw a sea of blood from the combined might of the rock of many faiths, culture and political diversities. Without a given doubt too many perished and there are recriminations and reverberations that resonate about the conduct of the 2nd world war.

Why is such an alliance so difficult when we are at an age of advancement and enlightenment?

Now I am courting the mud of controversy on what I am about to express. Analytic thinking as I had expressed must come from the integrity of soul searching.  The breakdown in what was deemed as traditional values. especially in the how one places a premium on protection of life is which has been breached and torn apart in so many ways. I will attempt to express it as it is:

The silent genocide or holocaust of this century is that of the defenseless unborn, the abortion of million innocent lives that may run into billions is beyond the proportions of the all the combined conflicts of the 20th and 21st Century. This genocide of convenience is explicitly allowed and sanctioned by the fulcrum of personal freedom and the sacrosanct pivotal guarantee of human rights. In my opinion if such rights or freedom are built and accepted on the blood of innocent’s victims- it is tarnished and tainted. Are we selecting our lives over the weak and defenseless?  What does it say about us? Now any potential person can be lured and indoctrinated on the simple basic fact that we do not care enough for the most vulnerable of life. We legalize, legitimatize and qualify the murder and are complicit in supplying the necessary tools and equipment.  When we ourselves deem life to be a mechanical program or a schedule that suits our purpose, we have essentially opened the floodgates to alternate forms of murder. The terrorist will not distinguish a difference between us and them. The subtle difference is one is civilized and the other is serpentine barbarism. One cannot claim the moral imperative if we are impervious and callous in selectively extending protection to all human life.

Euthanasia or mercy killing and the right to die also places us on the level of suicide bombers. Both are acts undoubtedly of courage, but is there nobility and dignity in the dying. We can be accused of not investing enough in building a support structure or a system of such strength that it makes the 'right to die' option unattractive and un-feasible. But here we are again leaving the doors open, little by little. How can we combat an evil effectively when we cannot negotiate past the minefield of euthanasia and the right to die?

The other probable factor could be equality. If one only acts like nations that would only protect its own citizens and for reasons of their own not act against other countries due to strategic commercial purposes, we are effectively compromised.

The institution of democracy though the best available option is the right of majority over a minority. Leaderships and parties have been compromised and have evolved as nothing more than Demi Gods, dictatorships or parasites and minorities are in a difficult position.

Is freedom of speech and rights deemed an unimpeachable enshrinement?  Does it allow those who think or feel they are intellectually superior, the accordance or right, to satirize, mock or laugh at another’s  faith or death with impunity?  Why not satirize against their own fathers, mothers, children or those dear to them?  Freedom without sensitivity or dignity is falsity and depravity.

The Muslim community I propose cannot absolve themselves, they must comprehensively

* Accept responsibility that they are part of the problem

* Unequivocally condemn, castigate and castrate the political structures elements and institutions among them that have promoted differences and insisted on violence. 

* Rehabilitate, resuscitate, rejuvenate, interpret and renew the laws and books which have explicit enactments that provides justification for killing and trapping person in their faith. There must be a dogmatic and theological certainty in interpreting and selecting the best of laws. The ambiguity must be expunged.

* Discard the thinking of exclusivity that God or Faith is a domain as such others are not entitled to erecting places of worship. It is presumptions, arrogant and disrespectful and is implicatively that we are not meeting or relating as equals.  

Those who join terror groups can use all the above that I have cited as compelling reasons. The fact is each individual knows the basic element that is in the Holy books or written in the DNA of their conscience. There were countries in the world which had the perfect environment and breeding ground for terrorism. Yet they are thriving, if they lost land by acts of war they have not wallowed in their plight. They just got down to it and built a better life for themselves. Terrorism has no real reason other than the fact that there exists a deliberate choice for one to reject their humanity and accept the transformation to being nothing more than a mindless rabid beast whose descent into darkness is ordained as natural. Since one cannot understand a beast that has human appearance one either cages it for good or one puts the beast out of its morbid misery to avoid infecting others who may have the propensity, inclination or delusional fascination to be least among the beast.
